“Before coaching I was working hard in the gym and at classes but wasn't paying attention to other aspects of my overall health so remained overweight and unhappy with myself.

Having already been attending a leisure centre for quite some time, the area lacking for me was nutrition and what a revelation it has been in terms of understanding many misconceptions!

The information on what is important for your body and how to balance your nutritional needs has been instrumental in me making such good progress.

I lost 1 and a half stone weight loss, increased strength, self confidence, nutrition awareness, positive mindset and gained an entire group of support!

Karen is knowledgeable, supportive, open and honest who is always available to provide all that you need to succeed. The coaching provides so many opportunities to address all issues surrounding fitness, health and wellbeing, literally changing your life. It has mine.

“Before I started with Karen I was in a rut, stuck in a bad cycle of too much restriction and then binging in the evenings and at weekends.

I would train really hard as much as possible but still not really see any results that I felt I deserved which in turn then lead to more eating etc.

Through coaching I learnt that I could enjoy pretty much any foods that I wanted (bread for me) within reason and still be successful in reaching goals.

Having that food freedom is so refreshing and quite frankly changes your life when you have been so anxious in the past about going out for meals and just eating more food in general.

I lost fat and gained muscle tone and definition from a physical perspective, but internally coaching has had such a positive effect. I am so much more confident, I feel better in my clothes, but also mentally feel clearer on everything and no longer go through the horrible cycle of feeling guilty for eating.

Life is too short and I have been able to find a balance which has had a positive domino effect on everything.

Before coaching, I was a yo-yo dieter… had no desire, no guidance, just plodding along...

The mindset coaching has really given me confidence in all aspects of my life, the nutrition information has given me the tools to maintain weight, lose weight when required, gain muscle.. just to have a better relationship with food in general…

And of course the exercise part of coaching has really changed my life.. going from 1 class a week to having a program personalised to my needs and requirements, hitting PB’s in the gym and finally getting my first Pull Up!

Also, the confidence I have in my own body, loving myself.. I always found that hard.. but now I really understand my body, how it works, how to get the best from myself.
